Summary

A crease nail puller has tiny, beak-like jaws which can grab the head of a horseshoe nail within the horseshoe crease, and easily remove it. In some cases, it may be easier to remove individual nails than to remove the shoe at once using a puller. This is especially true for painful feet.

Since you will only use the tool rarely, it is fine to use a lower quality and cost model. Ask your vet or farrier for a recommendation for a specific model.
