Elastikon® is an elastic, adhesive tape that can be applied directly to skin and hair. I use it at the top and bottom of my support bandages to "seal" the bandage. It is just one brand name, but the one that I am most familiar with.

I often use it on wound dressings as well, to adhere conform or gauze directly to the skin. It adheres fairly well to hair but not as well to itself. Use porous tape over the ends for longer adhesion at the end of the strip and to prevent unraveling.

It does not adhere well in cold temperatures. Extra effort must be made to ensure adhesion.
