Summary
This is the syringe/needle combination that I use for most of my vaccination and small volume injection. Keep 2-3 of these in your emergency kit. 20 gauge 1.5" needle is a standard size for IM vaccination. It gets the medication deep enough into the muscle but is small enough bore that it causes less pain.
