This maiden mare was having difficulty foaling. She was in 2nd stage labor longer than she should have been (about 30 minutes), so I gave her a little help. She probably would have foaled on her own but I felt like it was time for me to step in. And yes I caught the foal before she hit the ground! Both mare and filly are doing great today.
